Out of Jail as a Target? He's a Hidden Archery Master
Lin Shen, just released from juvenile detention, is the "trouble" everyone in his family avoids—his parents hate him for bringing shame, and his brother Lin Yang fears he'll ruin his spot in the archery competition. To help Lin Yang "build courage and accuracy", the family uses "we raised you" to morally blackmail Lin Shen into being a "living target". Lin Shen tries to hold back, but when Lin Yang's arrow grazes his ear, he instinctively grabs the dusty old bow from the corner and shoots back—hitting an apple core ten meters away dead center! The whole family freezes. No one knows that during his three years in detention, Lin Shen learned the lost "blind shooting" skill from Lao Zhou, a retired archery champion. Now, Lin Yang's opponent is a rich kid who bribed the judges and threatened to make Lin Yang "lose so bad he can't even hold a bow". Watching his brother clench the bow tightly, Lin Shen finally lifts his old bow: "This time, I'll shoot through all the dirty things that can't see the light!"
